Welcome to K’BRO
WONDERING IF YOU’RE DOING OK? FIND OUT BY PLAYING K’BRO!
K’Bro is an emotional resiliency app that is addictingly fun to play while developing skills to manage the challenges kids face today. As you play the “Am I OK?” game and use other features in the app, K’Bro anonymously captures data about your emotional state. K’Bro lets you know when you’re doing OK but also lets you now when something is not quite right.
Part game/part anonymous sharing/part knowledgebase, K’Bro is a safe place to share your thoughts and emotions and get advice on how to deal with life’s challenges while getting validation on how well you’re doing through the “Am I OK?” index.
The more you share in the app, the smarter the app gets about how you’re doing. Every time you play you’ll get an Am I OK? score that tells you how you’re doing. If you’re doing great, that’s great! If you’re not doing OK, K’Bro offers suggestions for how to help you feel better.
Learn how K’Bro works
K’Bro is a fun game and safe place for you to express what you’re feeling. Growing up can be tough especially when you might not be sure who to turn to for emotional guidance. Luckily, K’Bro is here to help! With our useful features, you will have access to:
Am I OK?
When you play the Am I OK game and name your emotions it helps your practice identifying what you’re feeling. K’Bro asks you to name 4 emotions out of 12 (6 positive options and 6 negative options) for four categories in your life: School, Family Life, Social Life and Everything Else. This helps K’Bro pinpoint which aspect of your life may be causing you problems and how you’re doing overall. This results in an Am I OK? score every time you play.
Deal with it!
Deal With It! is the place where you will find advice on how to maneuver through various life questions or ask questions of your Tribe. My Tribe is an anonymous online community where you can feel safe sharing your experiences and feelings as well as supporting others. My Tribe has unique anonymous sharing sites for Middle school and High school age groups so be sure to enter the correct age when you sign up. Kids in elementary school get all the benefits of K’Bro but do not have access to My Tribe.
Speak Up is the place where you can practice how to advocate for yourself. You can get feedback on how best to say something from those in your tribe, or simply share to get something off your chest. Your My Tribe peers can provide feedback by rating your comments “Helpful” or “Hurtful” to help you find the best way to provide feedback to someone. You can even text or email what you shared directly to that person.
What’s Up? is the feature that allows you to share the best stuff in your life to your journal or post on “My Tribe.” Each day you’ll be asked three questions to highlight what’s going right in your life. If you have a “not so OK day” on the index, you’ll be reminded of all the stuff that’s going right to help give you the emotional boost you need to start to feel better. And their positive use of the game is rewarded with additional acorns.

A game that lets you ask questions that you wouldn't talk to your friends or parents about.
Important app about communication and how I feel.
A good way to help me feel better or just try to get friends to beat my score.
I have just felt so much better since downloading this game and I feel every middle schooler/ high schooler could use this game!
I liked using K’Bro especially Deal With It! and being able to anonymously talk to others on My Tribe and get help from other going through similar situations.
Even though my parents arent connected it helps me realize my feelings and I can say whatever i want and i know nobody will know I said it. It makes me feel so much better!
It would be good for my child to be more aware of his feelings and options and to get support from sources other than his parents.
Teens can be op-positional, especially if the recommendation is coming from their parent. I see real benefits of my child playing K’Bro.
I feel less connected every day as a mom and it's harder for my kids than when i was growing up. K'Bro and the parent subscription is a great way to keep us connected!
